Welcome to Pilotalk. By accessing our platform and interacting with our AI Avatars, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

  1. NATURE OF SERVICE: NON-CERTIFICATION DISCLAIMER

Pilotalk is an interactive English language practice platform. * Not a Flight School: Pilotalk is NOT an Approved Training Organization (ATO), nor is it certified by the FAA (USA), EASA (Europe), UAEAC (Colombia), or any other Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

  • No Licensing: We do not issue pilot licenses, medical certificates, or official ICAO English Language Proficiency endorsements.
  • Supplemental Practice: Our Avatar is a tool designed to increase linguistic fluency and confidence. Use of our service does not guarantee passing the ELPAC or any other official examination. Users are responsible for their own official licensing requirements.
  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & AI CONTENT

All content, including the “Pilotalk Flight Deck” guides and the interactive Avatar interfaces, is the property of Pilotalk.

  • AI-Generated Content: Users acknowledge that responses are generated by Artificial Intelligence. While we strive for technical accuracy based on the FAA Airplane Flying Handbook and Pilot/Controller Glossary, Pilotalk is not liable for any technical errors or operational misinformation provided by the AI. Never use Pilotalk for real-world inflight decision-making.
  1. INTERNATIONAL USE & LEGAL COMPLIANCE

Pilotalk operates globally. Users are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

  • United States: We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
  • European Union (GDPR): In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users in the EU have the right to access, rectify, or delete their personal data and voice recordings used for training.
  • Colombia: We comply with Law 1581 of 2012 regarding Habeas Data.
  1. SUBSCRIPTION AND RENEWAL
  • Subscription Model: Access to the Pilotalk Avatar is provided on a month-to-month or annual subscription basis.
  • Cancellations: Users may cancel at any time through their dashboard. No refunds are provided for partial months already billed.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled 24 hours prior to the next billing cycle.
  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilotalk, its directors, and employees shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from:

  1. Errors in AI-generated speech or technical aeronautical advice.
  2. Failure to pass official ICAO/ELPAC language exams.
  3. Any operational incidents in real-world aviation where the user claims to have followed “Avatar advice.”
  4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

Users agree NOT to:

  • Use the Avatar to generate “Deepfake” content or harmful speech.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the AI’s base knowledge or extract proprietary training data.
  • Share subscription credentials with unauthorized third parties.
  1. DATA USAGE & PRIVACY

To provide a hyper-realistic experience, Pilotalk may process voice data.

  • Voice Recordings: By using the Avatar, you consent to the processing of your voice to improve the conversational accuracy of the system.
  • Anonymization: We aim to anonymize training data to ensure your identity remains protected according to international standards.
  1. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS

Pilotalk reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
